In case you missed last month's it is!
From the moment you step from your car, the wonderful smells wafting through the air dissolve any resolutions that were made "to be good" and thoughts of a St. Louis specialty GOOEY BUTTER, sugar cookies, or cannolis slip into your mind.

You are at Lubeley's Bakery and Deli.

In 1937, Helen and Ed Lubeley opened their first bakery at Kingshighway and Neosho.  Since 1982, Lubeley's has been in its current location at

7815 Watson Road

in the Village of Marlborough. Family-owned and operated, Lubeley's stays true to its German roots, traditions, and recipes.  You will find German specialties such as stollens and Black Forest tortes in additon to items such as your favorite character or team-themed cookies and cakes, breads, and treats for your pet!  And if the cases of delicious treats are not enough, the deli case is filled with fresh meats, cheeses, and various salads to go along with some hot soup.  You may come in hungry, but you will not leave hungry.  That is for sure!

The quality for which Lubeley's is known, continues under the watchful eye of matriarch, Helen Lubeley (age 97) who still comes to the bakery to work.  The tradition continues today with Helen's children maintaining the level of quality that their customers have come to expect.  They uphold the bakery's motto....
