The Municipal Court of the Village of Marlborough is a Division of the 21st Judicial Circuit Curt of the State of Missouri and shall be subject to the rules of the circuit court and to the rules of the State Supreme Court.
The Court and its officers are dedicated to the principals of impartiality, fairness, integrity, separation of powers, and judicial independence. Each case shall be heard by a judge who shall maintain competence in the law and apply the law to the best of his ability, shall conduct all trials with dignified, courteous, and procedurally correct courtroom procedure and shall decide all cases based solely upon the evidence presented without favor to either the prosecution or defense.
Court is typically held on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month, doors open at 6:00 pm, court begins at 6;30 pm, unless otherwise noted. Cases are called on a "first come, first served basis".
The Court expects payments in the form of cash or money order made payable to the Village of Marlborough on the court date. The fines listed in the table below can be paid prior to your court date at Village Hall, Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, by mail, by telephone, or via the Internet. Information on how to pay via Internet or phone is noted at the bottom of this page. For all other offense, the defendant must appear in court.
If payment is not made by the appointed court date, the defendant must appear in court. If you FAIL TO APPEAR on your court date or pay your fine beforehand, a warrant may be issued for your arrest. A separate charge of failure to appear will be issued.
