MARLBOROUGH'S NEIGHBORHOOD POLICE OFFICER

Jonathan Brannan

My name is Jon Brannan and I am the Village of Marlborough Officer.

I started my service to this country at the age of 18 when I joined the Army. I spent 6 years with the Army Corps of Engineers as a Combat Engineer. With the Army I was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. I was assigned the mission of supply route clearance during my deployment. My unit would patrol the supply routes, identify any improvised explosive devices and dispose of them onsite. Thankfully all members of my unit returned home at the end of our deployment.

I have been a Police Officer for 15 years. Within my career I have been a Firearms Instructor, Taser Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor and a Field Training Instructor. For the first 13 years of my career I was employed by the Ferguson Police Department. While employed by the Ferguson Police Department I was the Community Relations Officer. I specialized in Community Orientated Policing, Neighborhood Watch Programs and the Crime Free Multi Housing Program. I have been with the St. Louis County Police Department for 2 years and have been assigned to the Affton Southwest Precinct.

I am married to a wonderful wife and have 2 children. In my off time I enjoy fishing, boating, and being with my family.

It is my goal to serve the Village of Marlborough by continuing to adhere to the high standards set forth by the St. Louis County Police Department.
